Project Description

  • Project purpose is to improve access to HC for women in NC by integrating HC services in community pharmacies
  • Project activities include: developing an implementation playbook, providing implementation supports to facilitate delivery of the HC services in 5 community pharmacies, and assessing implementation feasibility of the service in this setting

Project Impact

  • Improved understanding of effective implementation of HC service in participating pharmacies based on collected implementation research data.
  • Tested Implementation Playbook based on implementation strategies tested for expansion and scaling.
  • Shared best practices and working implementation strategies in pharmacy practice to advance field of implementation science.
