NIRN’s three-tiered approach to implementation practice and technical assistance (TA) is designed to support the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovations across various systems. The tiers are:
Universal TA Tier 1
At NIRN, this is foundational support intended for all staff members within a system. It focuses on providing general resources on the Active Implementation Hub, guidance, and professional development (workshops and webinars) on key implementation concepts and practices. Our Universal TA aims to build the overall capacity of organizations and systems to engage in implementation efforts, ensuring everyone has access to basic, essential knowledge.
Targeted TA Tier 2
Our experts utilize this level of support is tailored for specific teams or organizations that need more focused assistance. It often involves deeper engagement, such as coaching, capacity building, and specialized training. Our Targeted TA is designed for organizations that are ready to move beyond general understanding and require specific tools or strategies to address challenges in implementing practices.
Intensive TA Tier 3
Our Implementation Specialists define this as the most specialized and resource-intensive level of support. It involves highly customized, hands-on assistance to address complex implementation challenges. Our Intensive TA is often delivered through sustained partnerships, where experts provide direct support to leadership teams, work on specific barriers, and help refine or troubleshoot the implementation process.
