With the goal of making dramatic gains for Black, Latinx, and low-income students with disabilities, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is investing over $10 million to launch the Charter Students with Disabilities Pilot Community. In partnership with Research Triangle Institute (RTI) and SRI, NIRN will be serving as a research and evaluation thought partner for the initiative.

The UNC Institute on Implementation Science hosted a virtual session on June 18th focused on implementation practice, skills and competencies and supporting implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic. A free recording of the session and additional resources are available. Our third annual UNC Institute on Implementation Science will be held on December 3-4, 2020 in Chapel Hill. The theme of this year’s Institute is Leading Change: Skills and Competencies for Supporting Implementation Practice to Achieve Equitable Outcomes.
