NIRN Team presents at the annual meeting for the Society of Prevention Research

Date Published: June 15, 2026
Focus Area(s): K-12 Education

Members of the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) recently presented at the Society for Prevention Research (SPR) Annual Meeting, sharing findings and lessons learned from implementation efforts aimed at supporting systems change and improving outcomes for children, families, and communities.

Through posters and presentations, the team highlighted innovative approaches to implementation support, capacity building, and the use of implementation science to strengthen the adoption, scaling, and sustainability of evidence-based practices. Presentations highlighted findings from the Effective Implementation Cohort (EIC), which explored strategies for supporting systems change across districts, and from the Virginia Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) Project, which focused on building implementation capacity to improve the adoption and sustained use of evidence-based practices. Together, these projects demonstrate how implementation science can support organizations in translating evidence into practice and achieving meaningful outcomes.

NIRN is proud to contribute to the growing body of implementation science research and to engage with colleagues from across the prevention and implementation fields to advance effective, equitable, and sustainable practices.
