Project Description

  • The State Implementation & Scaling-up of Evidence-based Practices (SISEP) Center supports the implementation, scaling, and sustainability of evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for students with disabilities across states. 
  • Currently in the 4th cycle of funding; has been funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) for over 15 years. 

Project Impact

  • Its Implementation Science Micro-Credentialing Program for K-12 educators has reached 151 participants across 29 states (2023-2024)
  • Its Intensive Technical Assistance program served 49 districts in five states (2023-2024), building upon a legacy of supporting 73 districts across 14 states since 2008
  • Its Communities of Practices (COPs) engaged 42 participants from 10 states and one OSEP-funded TA in 2023-2024
  • Its Active Implementation Hub has provided over 200+ resources to educational agencies in all 50 states and 156 countries internationally, with an estimated 250,000 users annually
