A research-practice partnership was established with Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) for a comprehensive implementation study of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) in the district.  With funding support from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, WCPSS evaluated the impact of MTSS on student outcomes and the presence and strength of implementation activities. NIRN provided technical assistance to WCPSS on use of the Drivers Best Practices Assessment and the Observational Tool for Instructional Supports and Systems (OTISS) for the evaluation.
