In her second session, English Learners’ Math Experiences: A Study During Year 3 of Math Curriculum Implementation, she shared findings from year three of implementation, examining how systems alignment, instructional practices, and language supports influence students’ mathematics learning. Together, the sessions underscored the importance of strong implementation infrastructures to ensure equitable and high-quality learning experiences for English Learners.

The NABE Annual Conference is one of the largest gatherings in the United States dedicated to bilingual, dual language, and multilingual education. Hosted by the National Association for Bilingual Education, the conference brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, and advocates to share research, instructional strategies, policy updates, and systems-level approaches that support English Learners and multilingual students.
