The Active Implementation Early Childhood Specialist Toolkit was developed to help Head Start Early Childhood Specialists conduct implementation-informed process consultation and built the capacity of Head Start Grantees. The toolkit contains tools and resources to help support grantees use implementation best practices in their work. Tools and resources include:
  • An Implementation Assessment
  • The Toggle Tool – a stage based technical assistance guide
  • The Hexagon Tool: Head Start
  • Implementation Drivers Checklist

The toolkit was developed with funds from Grant #90HC0012 for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start, and the Office of Child Care by the National Center for Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning. This resource may be duplicated for noncommercial uses without permission.
