This event is part of an international series of symposia hosted by the Community Health Systems Resource Group at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) focusing on “collaborative community research as a systemic approach to changing front-line practice” (see www.chsrgevents.ca). This symposium focused on how social media can facilitate practice change in education, health, and mental health through lessons learned from e-health innovations and business. The NIRN presentation was “The science of implementation: Guides for policy and practice” and summarized the linkages between implementation of innovations and necessary changes in organizations and policies.
